Embark on a new career in insurance. Begin in the classroom, where you will learn about insurance, earn 2 insurance licenses and an Insurance Help Desk Professional® designation. Then, during the hands-on training you will learn the basics of claims handling and reporting, sales and marketing techniques, and how to provide superior customer service over the phone, online, and in person. Finally, take your newly acquired skills on-the-job or on your own.

The material presented in this Insurance Help Desk Professional® program is designed to enable you to take and pass the insurance licensing exam for (1) property/casualty and (2) life/accident/health in your state of residence. As a newly licensed agent, you will have sufficient knowledge to find your first job as an entry-level insurance professional. We partner with many companies that will provide additional training to entry-level professionals.
Job Outlook
These skills are in great demand in today's workplace resulting in high employer demand and great career outlook! The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the insurance sales agent is expected to grow 6 precent nationally through 2055. About 52,700 openings for insurance sales agents are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
